Terms and conditions of sale

These terms govern purchases in the online shop of Atelier Aura, obrt za izradu ukrasa, Kninska 1, 31000 Osijek, OIB 11111111111. By confirming an order the customer confirms they have read and accept these terms.
1. Definitions
The seller is Atelier Aura, obrt za izradu ukrasa. The customer is any person who places an order through the online shop. A consumer is a natural person purchasing outside their trade or profession.
2. Formation of contract
The contract is concluded when the customer submits an order by pressing the button labelled “Order with obligation to pay”, and the seller sends confirmation of receipt to the email address given.
The seller may decline an order if the product is no longer available, if the details are clearly incorrect, or if production within the requested time is not possible. The customer is informed by email and any amount already paid is refunded in full.
3. Prices
All prices are in euros. The business is not registered for VAT, so VAT is not charged. Delivery cost is shown separately before the order is confirmed.
The price valid at the time the order is submitted, as stated in the order confirmation, applies.
4. Payment
If payment is not recorded within the deadline, the order is cancelled automatically and reserved goods return to sale. The customer is notified by email and may place the order again.
- Cash on delivery — paid to the courier on delivery, or in cash on personal collection.
- Bank transfer — after ordering, the customer receives a PDF quote with payment details and a 2D barcode. Payment is due within 3 days of the order being received.
5. Production and delivery times
Products marked as in stock are normally dispatched within two working days of order confirmation, or of payment being recorded.
Made-to-order products state their production time on the product page. Delivery time begins after production is complete.
In December, seasonal demand may extend these times. The deadline for orders delivered before Christmas Eve is published on the home page.
6. Delivery and personal collection
Delivery is available only to addresses within the Republic of Croatia, through a courier service. The delivery cost is shown before the order is confirmed and depends on the order value.
Personal collection is available at Kninska ulica 1, Osijek at no delivery cost. The customer is notified by email when the order is ready.
Candles and wreaths are fragile. Please inspect the parcel on receipt and report any damage immediately, with a photograph.
7. Right of withdrawal
A consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. Details and the withdrawal form are on the “Right of withdrawal” page.
The right of withdrawal does NOT apply to goods made to the consumer’s specification or clearly personalised, including candles with a custom inscription and wreaths made to the customer’s request. This is stated on every such product page and during checkout.
8. Defects and complaints
The seller is liable for material defects under the Croatian Civil Obligations Act. The complaints procedure is described on the “Complaints” page.
As products are handmade from natural materials, small variations in colour, shape and texture compared to the photograph are a characteristic of the product and not a defect.
9. Personal data
Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
10. Dispute resolution
We aim to resolve disputes by agreement. A consumer may also refer a dispute to a competent alternative dispute resolution body in the Republic of Croatia.
Disputes not resolved amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court at the seller’s registered address.
11. Changes to these terms
The seller may amend these terms. The version in force at the time an order is submitted applies to that order and is recorded with it.
